When I was a kid in the 1970s, my mom made about 60 cents for every $1 that a man made. She has decades of #MeToo stories. She’s a strong woman and an inspiration.

We all have mothers, sisters and aunties, and they deserve a just, equitable world. We have to work together to craft a world where women are valued and treated as they should be. I believe one of the starting places for such a world is with fathers.

Roe v. Wade is settled law. Planned Parenthood v. Casey is settled law. There are more laws governing women’s role in reproduction than there are governing firearms. That’s not right. Many women need clinics such as Planned Parenthood to get health care. We can’t be de-funding them.
